Heim Bookkeeping Services was founded in 2008 as a subcontractor to Charlie Manning Bookkeeping & Billing Service, a family-run business with over 40 years of success in Murrieta, California. My journey into bookkeeping was unexpected but deeply rewarding. After spending 13 years as a journeyman cabinet maker, the 2008 recession forced me to seek a new path. With an Associate’s Degree in Business and the guidance of Charlie Manning, I transitioned into the world of bookkeeping, gaining invaluable experience and skills that have shaped my career.
Over the past 16 years, I have worked with a diverse range of businesses across California, Kentucky, and Nevada. Through hands-on experience, I have learned not only what business owners need to manage their financials efficiently but also what accountants expect to see when tax season arrives. Now, life has brought another transition—not in profession, but in location. To be closer to my parents in their final stage of life, Heim Bookkeeping Services has relocated from Lexington, Kentucky, to Las Vegas, Nevada.
